Required documents

Personal application addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology for admission to the first year (in Russian). The application must specify the type of study you are going to enroll in (specialty, master's, postgraduate, doctoral studies).

A document of full secondary or higher education with an attachment and a certified copy (if the documents are issued in a foreign language, then the copy must be with a translation, certified either at the consulate of the Russian Federation in the country of residence or notarized), in which the subjects and the number of hours, grades are indicated. For non-CIS countries, documents on education must be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country or an apostille must be affixed to the Ministry of Education.

A standard medical certificate certifying the absence of medical contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation and at the Faculty of Psychology in form 086u (if available).

A certificate attesting to the absence of HIV infection, valid on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Photos – 6 pieces of 3x4 cm size, black and white, matte.

Certificate of graduation from the Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Moscow State University (if any).

Certificate of results of the Unified State Exam in Russian language and biology (if available).

The original and a copy of the passport (if the passport is issued in a foreign language, then the notarized copy must be with a translation).

A copy of the visa (if available).

The original and a copy of the migration card.

A copy of the registration at the place of residence or place of stay (if any).

A notarized copy of the apartment rental agreement (or other official document) – in case the applicant does not plan to live in a dormitory at Moscow State University.

If there is no registration in the passport, it is necessary to provide either a certificate from the passport office confirming the registration at the place of residence, or a notarized copy of the identity card indicating the registration (with translation, if necessary).

Visa invitation
To receive an invitation to enter the Russian Federation, the following documents must be submitted for consideration to the international department of the faculty (personally or sent through a postal operator to the address: 119234, Moscow, Leninskie Gory, 1, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Psychology, admission committee) :

A personal application addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology for admission to the first year.
a copy of the first page of the passport (the passport must expire no earlier than 1.5 years from the date of entry into the Russian Federation).

A copy of the educational document (with a translation into Russian), certified by the consular department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
After reviewing the submitted documents, you will receive an invitation to enter the Russian Federation. Please inquire about the visa application procedure at the Russian Embassy of your country. It takes from 1.5 to 2.5 months to issue an invitation, so you must send these documents no later than 3 months before the start of classes.
On the day of arrival or the next day before 17:00, you need to contact the International Department of the Faculty of Psychology for registration: 11 Mokhovaya St., Moscow, Russian Federation, building 9, room 109.

The cost of accommodation in the Moscow State University student dormitory is 13,000 – 17,000 rubles per month, depending on the living conditions.

The cost of a medical certificate and an HIV (AIDS) test starts from 1,350 rubles.
