Dear colleagues,
On December 19, 2025, one more journal from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Lomonosov Psychology Journal, was accepted into the international scientometric database of peer-reviewed scientific literature, Scopus.
The journal's editor-in-chief, Professor Yuri Petrovich Zinchenko, commented on the news: "The journal was founded in April 1976 by the founder and dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow University, Professor A.N. Leontiev. The journal's first editorial board included classics of Russian psychological science – A.N. Leontiev, A.R. Luria, P.Ya. Galperin, B.V. Zeigarnik, E.D. Khomskaya, and O.K. Tikhomirov. They set high standards for the scientific level and quality of editorial and publishing preparation, which are still maintained. The Journal actively promotes the internationalization of Russian psychological science, one of its priorities being systematically increasing the citation rate of our authors' publications worldwide. Indexing in the Scopus database enhances the journal's visibility and authority in the global academic community”.
The Scopus database contains over 40,000 peer-reviewed journals from over 7,000 international publishers. The Scopus list includes journals from over 250 countries, and the database is updated annually by 77.8 million publications.
We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the editorial board, reviewers, editors, authors, and all those who have maintained the high level of publications in the journal over the years, contributing to its development and relevance among professional psychological community.
Sincerely yours,
Editorial Board of Lomonosov Psychology Journal
